Seasonal: Product Inspection (Quality Control) & Product Fulfillment

Location: Chandler, AZ - Warehouse

We are looking for a motivated person to help our operations team hit goals through-out the year. Fast-paced, fun environment with high volume of products to be shipped to happy customers. Work-hard/play-hard mentality.

Part-time and full-time options available.
*This is a seasonal position (October through end of December 2023)

Job Responsibilities:

- Thoroughly inspect products to meet company quality standards
- Prepare products to be shipped and add final touches
- Package products with unique Andar packaging
- Work directly with warehouse manager to hit inventory goals
- Receive warehouse and product supplies
- Clean and manage workstations and warehouse waste/recycling
- Learn operations of global small business

- Help fulfill products and orders to customers

Job Requirements and Preferred Skills:

- First things first this is the most fun warehouse to work at in Arizona
- Live in or near Chandler, Arizona
- Coachable and willing to handle constructive feedback
- Detail oriented
- Responsible and punctual
- Willing to improve constantly and work as a team
- Be able to hit daily goals in busy environment

Product Designer | Paid Internship

Location: Chandler, AZ - Office

At Andar, we design and develop streamlined goods so that people can carry what matters. We’re looking for a talented individual to sit in with our Product Design team and expand their portfolio while watching designs come to life. You will work closely with our Founders, Brand Director, and Leathersmith, to bring product designs to life; from researching to wire-framing to prototyping to user testing. The most successful product designers are creative problem-solvers with a strong understanding of user-centered design principles.

Duties & Responsibilities

Help design and add input to the production of high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations
Research and develop new product concepts in response to customer needs and market trends
Help create detailed specifications for new products, including dimensions, materials, colors, finishes, etc.
Collaborate with engineers to ensure that products can be manufactured efficiently and within budget
Oversee prototype development and testing to ensure that products meet all performance and safety standards
Be a part of the product design process from start to finish, including managing timelines, budgets, and resources
Help prepare and present reports and presentations on product design progress and results
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to ensure that designs remain fresh and competitive
Attend trade shows and other events to gather market intelligence
Collaborate with the team (ie: leather smith, brand director, marketing, and customer support) to ensure that products are positioned correctly in the marketplace
Work closely with support staff who will provide mentorship and guidance as needed.

*A successful intern for this position may have the opportunity to be hired as a permanent member of our team

*This position will require in office availability at our Chandler, Arizona warehouse location - remote work will not be an option for this paid internship*
