Had an initial problem but Customer Service took care of me

The Indie Belt Bag was what my daughter asked for as a Christmas gift. I ordered it, it arrived… it is a very nice quality and attractive. On the front however there were what appeared to be 2 small scratches and I took a pic of it and sent it to Andar Customer Support. They promptly sent me a return label and initiated the exchange. The replacement just arrived and it is perfect. So happy everything was done so quickly.

Scratches easily

Very good quality but for the price I paid I did not expect this bag to scratch so easily. I’ve used it 3 times and this is what it looks like. I’m not doing anything strenuous or outdoors- so this is a bummer.

Hi there!
We make the Indie with 100% full grain oil waxed leather. Other leather goods companies will sometimes put a coating over their leather products to keep them from scratching, but we stay away from that because it tends to give the product a plastic look and can lead to the leather peeling. It’s important to note that every full grain leather good will develop marks and slight imperfections with use due to it being a natural material. Every scratch and imperfection will wear in with the product and help it develop a unique patina. That being said, it is important to upkeep your natural leather product with leather cream and other leather care products for it to remain in good condition.

We do suggest using our handmade leather cream, made from all natural ingredients, to keep your leather looking pristine. Leather cream will help buff those scratches out as it helps to restore, waterproof and protect your leather.
