I like the bag more and more every day. I do wish that the bag had attachment points in the bag for your keys so that when you opened like the hide of pocket there’s potential for your keys, maybe to fall out on the floor and if you put an attachment point in therethat wouldn’t That wouldn’t happen.

I travel often and usually use my Manhattan for out of town work trips or situations where I need to lug my laptop, iPad, headphones, cables, etc.
But when I only need a few things, the Manhattan is almost overkill and I worry about tossing it around because while I do like my leather aged, I also don't want it torn or scratched by a haphazard toss.
Enter the Dakota, same vibe but different fit. A few less pockets, but the simplicity is its greatest strength. When I want to just cruise down the street and work at a coffee shop, or am headed to an event, I grab the Dakota and it does the job better than any backpack I've ever owned. It feels rugged but classy, just big enough for the things I need and the leather accents are perfect as always.
I would definitely recommend one either as an addition to your Andar collection or a budget option for a quality backpack.

I have had a Manhattan for a few years now and wanted something that was little more compact for shorter trips. The Dakota is perfect for that use case, I also wanted a backpack I could feel comfortable taking on a camping trip and this one feels more rugged than the Manhattan.

There are quite a few high quality waxed canvas backpacks on the market, but the Dakota is the best one I've purchased for the price. It looks, feels, and works better than I ever imagined.
